My name is Hayden Almeraz. I am a 16 year old high school junior at The Dalton School in New York City, and a Youth Ocean Guardian Ambassador with the NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration). NOAA is a national organization like NASA, but for the oceans! In my role as a NOAA Ambassador, my mission is to cultivate and create initiatives that will inspire the youth community to engage with the cause of ocean conservation and stewardship.
